Sorry - this is not a Serial Number I recognise. Normally you will get something that looks like M or V plus six digits. Have another look and see if anything else comes up.

Thanks for posting this - the label on the chassis should be definitive, but it means nothing to me.

As a matter of interest, what happens if you switch it on and press buttons 1 and 6 together?

If I press 1 and 6 together nothing happens and if I press 2 and 6, the long number appears - 210712650920

OK. Done some research. It seems Sanyo has a special system for generating codes.

Various online sites offer to unlock for a fee.

BTW, your picture shows your S/N as 246406900921, which is not what you quote. You are also quoting a model number different from the label.

Found a free site that is saying 1488 for the above S/N.

No idea how reliable it is.

Thanks for coming back and letting us know the code worked. I did this particular code using a website that we don't normally use for codes, hence I wasn't 100% sure the result would be correct. However, fortunately it was!

I just Googled "Trustpilot Radio Codes" and after a couple of failed attempts with websites that wanted money I came across the following site which I used to do your code:
