VW Golf Mark 6 - VW Golf Mark 6 Door Woes - NigelMark6

My wife has a beloved Mark 6 Golf (red1) which has developed a odd fault. All of the electrical devices on the passenger front and rear doors have ceased to work. The doors are safelocked and cannot be opened, the electric windows are dead as is the wing mirror adjust.

I have tried all the obvious things fuses for the body and engine, all okay.

I purchased a diagnostic code reader and found that there were two resident codes 01333 and 01332 which relate to a fault on the door control modules on the passenger front and rear respectfully.

I am at a loss how to proceed with this, any suggestions would be welcome. I am trying to avoid main dealer as when asked they were not forth coming with any useful ideas.

It’s possible you have a wiring issue into the doors . Broken and corroded wiring is not uncommon on VW models . Find an electrical tech that can fault find with a wiring diagram.
