Hi,

I purchased a Nissan primastar Van 2005 on a Sunday drove it home, all good.
went to work Monday & Tuesday no problems.
Tuesday evening went out parked up for 2 hours, tried to start it, with no luck. It will start run for a few seconds & cut out.
Try to start it again straight away cuts out immediately, leave it a few minutes or so & will run for a few sec's again, then cut out.
Cleaned the mass flow, EGR valve & replaced camshaft sensor. AS advised by some mechanic's.
Please help !! what next???????

Next step would be to find somebody with suitable diagnostic kit and an understanding of how a common rail diesel Renault engine operates. It is not possible to guess what is wrong.

I have put a small wifi reader on it but that shows no faults.

Hi

Had the codes checked.

1808 cam sensor ???? already changed

1826 heater plug circuit

1816 preheating relay circuit

1806 airflow circuit

1802 air temp sensor circuit

df029 drivers pretensioner circuit

50co ecu supply voltage too low

cleared all codes,

but 1826 & 1816 came back.

Any ideas??????

Lots of fault codes here , some not related to your problem. You need to be looking at real time data to find out what is not correct . What is your engine speed rpm and fuel pressure?

You need to check engine rpm speed and fuel pressure when cranking over with the starter.

Is this possibly an immobiliser issue - how about the reader coil? - just a thought.

Also lots of mentions of low voltage - time for a new battery?
