FYI The real cost of drink driving - HGV ~ P Valentine

I would ask everyone with xmas around the corner, if you drive somewhere and have a drink then get a taxi back and pick your car up in the afternoon the next day.

FYI The real cost of drink driving - oldroverboy.

And a word from youngrovergirl, who will be on call/duty over Christmas,

"We have seen many times over the years the consequences of just having one more" and also with the use of other "substances"

Here on the forum, I think most of us would get a taxi or walk.

Personally, If I am driving, it is 1 pint only (with food) maximun, but usually none,

None is safest if driving.

50 years ago i saw a girlfriend after she had gone through the windscreen of a car, that was bad enough for me!

Happy and safe Motoring to all.

As I get more involved in taxi driving my offspring to and from parties I find that I am drinking less and less. Saves quite a lot of money too!
