BP halts Nectar cards - FoxyJukebox

Filled up yesterday at my local BP and Nectar has apparently been stopped. Instead was given a BPme awards card. Haven't properly had time to suss, but suspicious that it's another sort of card ( like all of them!) which you make multiple use of and hold on to for years-then find you've only got minimum cash value or a reward I'm unlikely to want.

Must check what my Nectar balance is since I rarely fuel up or go to a Sainsbury-thus my Nectar is pretty redundant.

BP also have a tie up with Morrisons supermarkets, providing local stores at some of their fuel stations. Nectar won't fit that model.

I used to have a shell card and could use it on my company van, I got loads of , money back, ( well the most I got was 7.50) which I then used the money off when I filled up my car, can’t use the keyfuels card at shell, and Morrison’s wont let me use my more card with a company fuel card, although Tesco will, I got a new bp card on Sunday , although I fill up abou5 once a fortnight so I doubt I’ll amass a fortune...

Still use it at Sainsbury's own fuel stations. Also the Chelmsford one is on my way home and quite often as cheap as Asda or slightly cheaper. They are also currently giving out vouchers for double nectar points next time you buy fuel.
