Car Wow - Prices - thirts

Are the prices on Car Wow as good as it gets (both new and 2nd hand) , or is there still room for negotioationonce as the dealers?

Nothing to stop you trying I suppose. Shy bairns get nowt. Although the point of Carwow is that it's meant to take away the effort of haggling and is supposedly the 'best' price that can be got.

I bought my last car through Carwow and the dealer told me (admittedly it may or may not have been true) they use Carwow simply for volume and not for individual profit - ie pile em high and sell em cheap.

I went on Car Wow for my Mother in law who was interested in a new (top of the range) Hyundai i10. The best price quoted on Car Wow was beaten by Arnold Clark in Aberdeen (she lives in North East Scotland).

So if you have the time, shop around, you might be surprised at what you can get!.

Carwow charge dealers £300 for using there service

Carwow prices are not very impressive anymore, can find better prices elsewhere such as autoebid

But it’s still worth getting quotes from a few brokers like Carrwow and then seeing if your local dealer can do as well or better.

I’ve often found that the dealer will give you a better trade-in price if you want to do a PX.

Use online brokers etc to get prices then call local dealers to see if they’ll match or come close. Often they will even if they’re making nothing, just to count another car towards volume bonus. I’d rather buy from a dealer and have a local point of contact. I did this when I leased my Honda CRV and Phoenix in Glasgow matched the best online quotes which saved a substantial amount over the 4yr term.

I use car wow as a starting point, usually you can find a dealer or broker that can beat them.

Since 2008 I have used brokers as a starting point.

The BMW dealer matched the broker.

The Nissan dealer beat the broker.

The Seat and Skoda dealers were way more expensive than the broker and would not negotiate thus bought via broker.

When we bought the Ceed SW brokers did not list Kia. But we got a good PX and a £1000 dealer bonus which made the car cheaper than the equivalent Focus estate from a broker. The Ceed at the time was a superior car in most respects.
