Can anyone recommend a n Indy garage to service Mercedes car. Ideally it will have mer C trained mechanic. Looking within 15 miles Hornsea, East Yorkshire.

Googling 'independent Mercedes specialist East Yorkshire' shows two in Hull. Mer-Tech (Google rating 4.6 out of 5 from 64 reviews), and Merxworx (4.6 out of 5 from 33 reviews). There are others showing (including Bob Trice mechanics near beverley, a Land Rover specialist?), but the names of those two suggest they mainly deal with Mercs. There is also Autologic Hessle in Hull, the website describes it as a BMW, Mini and German car specialist (5 out of 5 from 26 reviews).

But i'd imagine the best source of info would be from an owners club/forum?.

Many thanks bbd. For various reasons I want to avoid travelling to Hull. I'll investigate the others and follow your suggestion re owners forum.

Could try the Seaton Garage - they are a Bosch garage so will know what they are doing.

I found my Merc specialist in Northampton by asking the local taxi drivers.
Be quick though as they are all changing to Prius.
Best move I have made as they have seen all the faults on older cars which main dealers never get to see.
