Vauxhall Zafira - Camshaft trouble - Hayley Blackwell
My car is currently being fixed at a garage. Several problems have been solved. Although one error keeps reoccurring. I’ve been told it’s related to the cam shaft. The sensor has been changed, timing checked, wiring checked and it’s still showing the fault code. I desperately need my car back, it’s not the ecu either as that already got sent away and came back clear. What else could be causing the code?!

Was the cam sensor a genuine Vauxhall part?

As far as I’m aware, I don’t actually know. I trust the garage and my parents have been going there for years no problems. Originally the car had seven fault codes with the engine management light on. Ecu got sent away, came back fine. A broken wire fixed the other codes but this one still remains. I don’t have a clue and just want my car back ??

Probably a good idea to confirm what has been fitted. A lot of non genuine sensors can get you in trouble and send you in circles.
