Isuzu D-Max 4X4 - tyre sizes - SULLY

Hi, local garage has replaced 2 rear all terrain tyres with 235/70 in place of 245/70 to match front. 14mm difference in diameter according to charts. Is this OK - I've read that it might damage the drive train if 4wd is engaged on road. Any advice much appreciated.

The proper size is listed in the log book.If you have abs it will affect that to a more or lesser degree.

The correct size is 245 according to my local tyre man and his charts.

That page is American with the possibility of different tyre sizes to British delivered vehicles.The correct size is 245 70 16 or 17 dependant on model

Silly me, I thought the UK was still in the EU. The label "European Domestic Market" must mean something. Anyway, I wouldn't fancy trying to fit 245 70 17 tyres.
