Just wondering if anyone knows whether it's any good? rrrroll.com . Looking for alternatives to AutoTrader/Gumtree etc.

Why are you looking for alternatives to the sites you mention?, have you had bad experiences with them?. Not sure about Autotrader, but Gumtree ads are free, so you can't really go wrong. If you have tried with no success, maybe you are asking too much money?.

I'm actually looking for a quicker sale rather than pricing high and inviting tyre kickers etc from those platforms, seems like this platform is made for that, just wondering if anyone had used them before.

If that is the case simply put the details into We Buy Any Car or the Evans Halshaw equivalent. When we sold our Note earlier this year WBAC offered about £800 less than a private sale but Evans Halshaw offered £500 more. Went to Evans Halshaw, they knocked £100 off for bits and bobs and the money was in our bank withing 2 hours. And lest not forget that the private sales in Autotrader are the asking price, very few will get that.

No risk, no tyre kickers, no waiting for a buyer to find you. And less than £400 worse off than the best private buyer we could find (if they actually existed). Evans Halshaw advertised the car for about £800 more than they paid which was in reality a very reasonable price for a car on a dealers forecourt.

I don't think there will be a site which only attracts genuine buyers while excluding tyre-kickers - wouldn't make sense, would it?

Surely dealers themselves wouldn't be? The site I mentioned only allows dealers to buy from you.

Ah, that will cut the number of calls you get, certainly. And unless your car is very desirable I doubt there are that many dealers looking for stock in the run-up (or down) to Christmas?

Hi b11b

Have just looked up the Whois info for the website domain name. It was registered/ launched on the 28 October 2018. YES, ONE WEEK AGO. Doubt that many dealers (if any) will be registered with them yet.

What is also ringing alarm bells with me is that I can't see any contact details or registered address on the website.

It's up to you though!

Agreed, and the website itself is devoid of any useful information. It looks like it was knocked up in about ten minutes.

I'm also curious about the URL; what does it have to do with cars exactly?
