Probably it's the release bearing that is failing and it'd be hard to target this with any spray and the bearing is probably totally goosed anyway so it won't fix the isse and will probably spray on other clutch friction components causing clutch slip or other problems.

I'd just get the a new clutch fitted - Not too expensinve on this car.
