Renault Scenic XMOD - Renault Scenic Gurgling Noises - PhilDarlington1999

Hi,

I have a Renault Scenic Xmod Diesel which has started to make an odd noise. When I switch the engine off you hear the engine you hear a distinctive gurgling noise for about 5 seconds. The AirCon is on and it is pretty hot so wondered if it was to do with that?

My twins always started their astra with music on.

Ineeded to get my car out of the drive, started their car put the radio off & heard gurgling like water in the house pipes. Switched off, lifted the bonnet & checked the water in the radiator - lack of water!

Older car ,so got some radweld & then topped up with anti-freeze - success! Sold car 4/5 years later with no further water leaks.
