I would say not and I am not the type to say we will never fly before aircraft had been invented, remember that one of these driverless cards killed a person a few mths ago. as for what may happen in 50 yrs time, well it would take a better man to predict that one then me.

The challenges for driver-less cars in our towns and cities are huge. The car industry knows this but few are talking about it.

I am not so convinced. In the UK alone 33 people are killed on the road every week. In 90% of cases it is human error.

So if driverless cars can eliminate or seriously reduce the human errors a lot of lives will be saved.

Extrapulate the lives lost globally and this makes a strong push for this technology.
