Please would someone remind me ot the name of the poeple with whom you pay whoever comes out to help you and then claim the cost back from the insurer.

However, they have now changed their payment system. You no longer have to claim the money back after you've received breakdown assistance - They just send someone out to deal with it, now, and no upfront payment is required.

I changed to autoaid last year for both our cars...£48 seemed a good deal for two cars....I've never had to use them and hope I never will so I can't comment on how efficient they are.
