I assume we can believe the story given that it is in the Daily Wail? It does make sense though it will hit the poorest hardest, as they have the oldest cars. Perhaps it will curb the enthusiasm for huge vehicles. But to be really effective this has to spread to other cities, and hence influence car makers to do even more to reduce pollution, given that the emission zone regs will no doubt get tighter with time.
A quick check woud have shown it is the other papers.
The DN version was good as it shows a large map of the area, for those who don't live in it.
My comment on veracity was slightly tongue in cheek, though they do have a habit of writing misleading stories, especially about Muslims. Interesting story though.
