I had to chuckle at the current Audi advert that has the tag line "Clown Proof" Surely this is going to prevent a lot of people buying them!

Very seldom see an advert because we almost never watch broadcast telly, but did happen to catch that Audi ad over the weekend.

Is that where the clowns managed to park their own vehicles alongside the kerb, but the Audi driver presumably needed the parking feature to do it for him.

I just watched it after reading this and was very disappointed. I thought the clowns were going to be behind the wheel.

I should think Audis are good cars but for some reason they seem to be the make that cuts you up, tailgates, etc etc.

I drive two cars regularly, a Toyota Aygo and a Mustang. In the Aygo I find I get cut up and tailgated by a disproportionate number of Audi drivers, in the Mustang I find a disproportionate number of Audi drivers trying to prove how fast their cars are eg M6 on Saturday cruise control on and close on RS Audi in middle lane, predictably as I start to vertake he drops a couple of gears and hares off, slows down, I close up, repeat x2. Inferiority complex?

And yet Audi had an advert saying they had nothing to prove, it seems the drivers see it differently! like BMW and Merc drivers....

It used to be BMW drivers whom everyone loved to hate: it'll be someone else soon - Tesla perhaps. Fashions change.
