I have just bought 96 xantia LXTD with air con. What % reduction in fuel economy can one expect when using the air conditioning?

Not much with a citroen. They do not go fast enough to use much fuel anyway. Every time I see a citroen on the road, for some unexplicable reason there seems to be a tailback of pedestrians behind it. Strange that!
