Volvo XC60 leap of faith? - NAthan smith
Thinking of my first suv and I like the XC60. In my 30s like the r design trim especially Luca r design with full leather. Want the 2.0 diesel £30 tax just wondering if anyone has any views,running costs , problems with these?

Cars with the D4 4-cylinder diesel (introduced in late 2013) have problems with the EGR cooler and valve. Volvo has been good at fixing these under warranty without quibbling.

I have two Volvo V60s in the past 6 years, and I liked them. If you're buying new, no problem. If you're buying used, I would strongly recommend that you ONLY buy from a Volvo main dealer and make sure that the car has a full Volvo service history. That will give you the strongest position if any problems crop up.
