I went to a large DIY store this morning to price up some supplies. didn't buy anything... went back in the afternoon to buy some bits, having been elsewhere for other shopping.

Stayed about 15 minutes the first time, and about the same the second time about 4 hours later.

In between, I have a receipt for shopping elsewhere and my receipt for the second visit to DIY shop.

It is no longer possible for shop staff to input vehicle registrations for multiple visits.

Just another way for a parking company to grab more!

The no return rule is intended to deal with egregious freeloaders moving cars around. I suspect that if you can show you were legitimately in the store on both ocasions you'll have no problem.
