SAAB 9-3 Sportwagon - Limp mode - muigaisammy
I have a Saab 9-3 1.9 TiD 2005. Recently, it has been going into limp mode intermittently but now it's always on limp mode. It had P0400, P1109, P1110 and P1125. I have changed the throttlebody and throttle accelerator, swirl flap actuator and services the EGR. The vehicle starts okay but won't go beyond 2000rpm. It's MPG has noe risen to 53.9 which is strange.
The AC works intermittently too.
This vehicle has become very hard to drive and I have tried to think what might be wrong but not succeeding. Want to try and take out the ECU and have it checked.
Would appreciate suggestions and cures for my predicament

Thanks.

Pretty much all induction related codes which you seem to have targeted,

I'm wondering about the particle DPF filter?

If it's blocked then no matter what you do to the intake system it still can't breath out

I did check that today. Disconnected it and still the vehicle went into limp mode. The engines always runs well for a few minutes then limp mode kicks in.

Sounds like you need an independent Saab specialist.

Here's one - www.saab-specialist.co.uk/repairs-servicing-mot/

Not advertising - just happen to know of the company and they do good job.

The vehicle is in Africa.
Checked the DPF and its all clear. Waiting for my new EGR to be delivered. Hopefully it will do the magic.
Hope there is anyone out there with an experience like mine to help out
