Surely the VAG group must be paying their dealers a fair bit of warranty cash

to install the new computer fix to reprogramme their cars. Why does there

appear to be so much hassle when the new programme fails? Why cannot the

dealer admit defeat and simply reinstall the original ECU programme and at least put his customer back to where he was before? Surely this cannot be illegal as many owners are declining the fix as word spreads.

You cannot trust anybody, read today that the TV people may be rigging their

Electric consumption!
