Anothrr second hand car might be just as expensive when you get to sort the problems it may have.Had a run of three bad luck, should be alright for a while now......Sounds like an excuse to get others to justify a shopping trip.

I know what i personally would suggest, but further to the comments about car condition and service history, their 2 cars are both in need of servicng and maintenance and his van needed serious work on it when it was sold, all 3 could happily be scrapped but, hey, not my problem. and 2 out of 3 of them not mot'd..either...one not insured either or taxed and still on the public road, but live and let live.... as we say
