FIAT 500C - Start stop check transmission - maggiebong
I have a fiat 500c automatic on a 60 plate a couple of weeks ago it come on my dashboard saying start stop disconnected check transmission took it to my mechanic and we thought he had sorted it but 2 weeks later it's started again it's driving fine no problem except for this as soon as I start to drive it beeps then start stop disconnected check transmission see handbook will come up and it could do that every few minutes any ideas what it can be thank you

I'm pretty sure it's a Duologic transmission which is an automated manual gearbox, that design of auto box are generally not very good

The best thing to do is get in touch with a local member of www.fedauto.co.uk/

I'm sure they will be able to sort it

I would get the battery tested.If it is not up to spec,then all sorts of weird electrical problems can occur.
