Does a Huracan in a hurry have a tendency to fly? Christmas day was windy (I was on the M1 and it was blustery). The A45 there runs into the teeth of a sou'westerly. Does a gust or a dip make them flip? All those babyboomber millionaire pension pots need to be told. HJ - please investigate!

I think you may have a point about their affinity for water:

Its like the scene out of 'The Spy Who Love Me' but in reverse...

Maybe this is a reaction to them catching fire so easily on hot days? A nice laugh for a Friday night.

Cheers guys!

Amusingly, the website blurb for the Huracan spider says it is "designed to cut through the air and become one with the sky": www.lamborghini.com/en/models/huracan-lp-610-4-spy.../

I am pleased that no-one seems to have been badly injured, and that the idiot driver didn't manage to hit anyone else.

It's odd, I'm a dyed-in-the-wool petrolhead but the modern generation of supercars just leaves me utterly cold.

Me too, Craig, and I'm sure we're not the only ones. If money were no object, I'd certainly want a convertible (while still keeping my estate car), but I can't imagine any extra driving pleasure that I'd get from, say, a Ferrari or Lamborghini, that I wouldn't get from a Jaguar, BMW or Mercedes. Indeed, I'm not even sure that I'd choose a £70,000 Jaguar F-type over a £40,000 BMW 4-series straight-six convertible (of course I might think differently once I'd tried them).

The new RHD Mustang for £35,000 would do me just fine, thank you very much :)

It's got the looks, the muscle AND the soundtrack.
