1998 registered, 120BHP OM 602 diesel therein, 4 speed automatic.

Bought about 10 years ago.

Parked in a grass field since March 2013, grass growing up past and through the vehicle.

Pulled out in mid summer, And parked on concrete, stuck a new battery in her recently , started ABSOLUTLY first kick.

Weeping steering box, required a seal at £4.69.

And a wash, that was all.

And sailed through our Government run NI MOT 1st time.

I had a ride offroad in a Steyr Pinzgauer a number of years ago. I was seriously impressed.

The Prinzguars are starting to be "cast" (disposed of) by the Army, a beauty currently on at Mod-veh (withams as was)

Fresh as a Diasy with ultra low miles.

Only trouble is the 33K reserve

I too drove one at the War and Peace Show, a petrol one, quite astounding how it coped with the off road course, the section reserved for tracked vehicles naturally, then whooshed off down the Public highway with equal aplomb.

And the wonderfully weighted, ergonomically perfected, absolutely silky smooth precise way the 3 difflocks engaged.

Never mind the indestructible build feeling, not a creak nor a groan despite the extreme torsional loadings during the off road course.
