Hi my car has developed a problem where the fan is constatly on even if the car is locked intitaly i though it was the coolant temperature senser although haveing disconnected it the fan still continues to run the fan is a 3 speed fan to which it runs at the fastest speed, all fuses still work and the relay is fine what could this be any help

Any fault codes logged?May be related to the dpf regen system.?

Many Vauxhalls have a cooling ECU, fitted in the grill area, it controls the logic of cooling/aircon fan use - they fail frequently.

Havent plugged obd in n i have never seen or read anything anout a dpf in my cars manuals

There is no cooling fan control module on these.There are 2 or 3 relays(subject to spec) in the engine bay fuse box

Mines a 3 relay system and i know 2/3 work havent tested the last one

I think they are all the same,in which case you can swap them out>However doubt if this will be your problem.

Nope it turns on regardless off the relay
