hi, the e70 amp made no difference ,so i sent it back, tore my hair out a bit, then found a broken wire. in the right hand rubber loom (RHD)

I soldered it back together, problem sorted. I am a happy man

The wire was red ,with a thin yellow line, obviously the main power lead for the remote side of things. The loom itself wasn't even damaged, but someone elsewhere on this forum mentioned it, and i thought it was something i hadn't tried!

I would check the wires within the rubber. Both sides. Failing that, get another amp. The e70 unit mas much cheaper, but it looked identical and fit fine, yet made no difference, as the problem was a severed wire!

If it is the amp, do tell the garage to keep hold of it and give it back to you.

There are buyers on ebay who can refurb them.
