Hi all..after filling fuel tank for holiday run noticed a fuel leak from around tank area ......been slight leak eversince even with tank down to approx 2galls in it....been suggested breather prob but where do i start...gratefull in advance
Thankyou for that possitive response but the vehicle is off the rd...i thought i would try and rectify prob myself.......while vehicle is running no leak....when turn off slight leak....4-5 small drips......if anyone has any ideas what prob could poss be i will ask for positives.......thanks
The only thing you can do really is find out where the leak is, have a look underneath while someone switches the engine off. Also see where the drip is occuring on the ground and look directly above it with a torch.
Problem found....pinhole in fuel tank ,,apparently common problem in USA.....would there be anything i can use to seal....2nd hand tank in uk.....600quid......
