Is it me or is the BMW 318 driver seat a really uncomfortable pew?

No it's not you. Of all the many BMW virtues - seat comfort is not one of them, particularly on the more basic models.

I find all BMW saloons apart from the 7 series very uncomfortable. It isn't just the seat, it's the way that the pdeals and steering wheel are off centre as well. Seems to happen in both LHD and RHD cars.
