Ford KA 1.3. 2002 - Radio problem - jonathan123

Hi all. I have the radio code but when I enter it it just says on the viewer and the radio does not open. Any ideas? The code is ok as I have used it before. I had to remove the radio because I had heater problems. Thanks. jonathan123.

When the radio is switched on ,the screen should display "code ----".What does yours do?

Did you remember to press Button#5 to actually enter the code?

I didn't know you had to enter 5 to establish the code. It has always come on before without doing that, BUT! Wow. Thanks guys, it all works now. Ignorance is no excuse. The old saying "When all else fails read the instructions" comes to mind. Thanks again. jonathan.
