Looks like you are going round in circles with this car.The fuel pump relay is not in the cabin fuse box. There are a few variations of fuel pump relay location on these. It could be one in the engine bay fusebox ,but it looks like your car has a/con ,thats why there are more relays than usual. Why don't you run the car and pull each relay in turn to see which one cuts the engine. It is also possible that the relay is located behind the driver kick panel, behind bonnet release, could be a purple colour.Perhaps it is time to find a garage that has some experience with these.

I haven't tried anything yet really.

Just seen suggestions elsewhere also, that dicky Fuel Pump Relay could be the problem.

Yes, my car has Aircon.

There is a fuse/relay box under steering wheel (is that cabin one ?) and in engine bay, next to Diagnostic Plug.

.

My Haynes manual just mentions these 2 areas for Relays as well

Are you saying Fuel Pump Relay may not be in those, could be elsewhere ?
behind kick panel next to ECU, in driver's foot well on right side.

.

The car has intermittent starting and is not starting.

My local garage did not know where Diagnostic Plug was, started looking next to gearstick taking trim out and the RAC came, said it could be anything, said they don't carry diagnostic equipment for cars that old anymore.

.

I managed to get ECU Fault Code 94, my car has SIMTEC 56 system, but I can't see this code in a list I found.
Do you know ?

Looking back to your original post, you say that the mil light flashes when the car does not start. This is an indication of a fault with the immobilser system or that the key is not recognised.Ecu fault code 94 relates to an immobiliser issue.May be an idea to check the connections to the immobilser module attached to the steering lock. Also do you have a second key to try?

I reseated the plug to the immobiliser module attached to steering lock.

I tried spare key.

No change, car won't start, MIL flashing with occasional what seems1/2 rapid flashes, but difficult to tell as is reasonbly fast flashing. This is basically like flashing when key wasn't recognised, I know from when I wasn't having this problem.
This is different flashing to when reading ECU codes after shorting A/B pins on Diagnostic Plug, which is slower, easy to read.

.

Any idea why Fault Code 94 isn't on this list I found for SIMTEC 56 on another website ?

Are there updated versions of the codes with new codes ?
