Nissan Qashqai 2014 model - Rear Bumper - lampo

I damaged the rear bumper, reversing plus low post, but I can't replace just the bumper. It comes with a rear panel that needs masking and then spraying. We paid the extra £350 for a "ceramic"coating when we purchased the car. The new panel will not have this. The bumper with the panel is about £200 then the prep and spraying of the panel and fitting. Sudenly it's nearer £500.

Its only a black bumper for goodness sake.

Where can I buy just a bumper?

Is this yet another make a load of profit on spares scam?

I suspect the 'ceramic coating' is Nissan salesman snake oil. Otherwise known as £5 of polish wihch may or may not have been applied.

Try a small bodyshop and see if they can fill the existing and spray.

I believe people like Chips Away offer a bumper repairing service. Would be considerably cheaper than a Nissan main dealer.
