Audi A4 - Audi Concert CD Player shows CD Error - Steveieb

The Concert CD player on my 2003 A4 will no longer load CD s. Even the Cleaner CD fails to load.

Can anyone suggest a solution or failing this can I replace the whole unit with one from Halfords or does this affect the head up display ?

Possibly the easy solution would be to get a similar s/hand unit that will be a direct replacement.Fitting a different unit is possible ,but will need a few minor wiring alterations and an suitable interface to enable the head up display to work.

Thanks forn your advice, but I'm finding it hard to find a replacement that matches the Concert 2 for sale second hand.

Is it possible to fit a generic unit from Halfords ?
