As car dashcams are becoming more popular, maybe the police could act on recordings made by members of the public?

After all, they've acted on behalf of cyclists who've recorded dangerous driving on their helmetcams.

Today a Zafira on the school run, driver and 6 kids in it, none wearing belts.

You must live near me (or in an another area with a high proportion of Moslems or Ultra-Orthodox Jews). All too prevalent and something I cannot understand. Would they not want to look after these children, given they usually have many of them?

Without wishing to take the racist tack the area where I live has a very small number of Moslems, Jews etc but we do have the usual number of Chinese restaurants and Asian shops/restaurants.

What we do have is a large Polish community.

But that is nothing new, originally many stayed after WW2 and settled marrying local girls and having families, my cousing married one of the first generation to be born in this country. I worked with many of them when I was younger, all appeared to be called Jonny. In fact there was Polish Catholic church (and Social club) in addition to the regular Catholic churches and their clubs. Numbers of the original members of the community dropped to such a degree that the Polish club closed in the 1990's but with the recent influx of newcomers the community is thriving again.

The driver of the Zafira was probably just a stupid local. The kids were probably not all hers, probably just borrows them to take to school.
