Vauxhall Corsa C - cosa c easytronic wont start or go into gear - malcsmith

I had the clutch actuator fitted to my wife’s corsa about a year ago and it worked fine. The car has now developed the same fault:
· will sometimes not crank over with an F on the display panel.
· Sometimes will be fine
· sometimes will start, but will not go into gear.

It is in the garage now and they have given me the fault codes:
P1703 Present – Brake light switch signal CAN-bus malfunction
U20105 Not present – CAN-Bus no comms with ECM
P0505 Not present – Idle speed signal CAN-Bus malfunction
P1700 Not present MIL request via CAN
P0110 Not present – Intake air temperature signal CAN-Bus malfunction
P1895 Not present – Engine Torque Signal CAN-Bus malfunction
P1896 Not present – Engine Torque request signal Can-Bus malfunction
P0725 Not present – Accl;erator pedal position signal CAN-Bus malfunction
P0115 Not present – Engine coolant temperature signal CAN-Bus malfunction

The garade is talking about an internal gearbox problem - doesn't sound right tio me.
Anyone got any ideas?

I would be careful about having work done on the gearbox. All these codes are showing a CAN-BUS malfunction and they are not all gearbox related.

Fault codes are not the idea way to fault find. Have they checked that the CAN high and CAN low signals are mirror images of one another?

If the garage does not have staff that are well trained in diagnosing CAN BUS systems, I'd suggest going to someone that is.
