One of my alloys is quite badly scuffed and probably beyond refurbishment at a price that wouldn't make it worthwhile buying a new wheel, and I'm hoping to source a replacement fairly cheaply because I might be selling the car soon. Still, there's the option of going to Ford and paying full whack for a new wheel if I decide to keep it.
Not sure I'd trust myself to come away from a breaker's yard with a decent wheel that doesn't need banging back into shape before I can put a tyre on it, but that's an alternative I might still consider.
I'll have a think about it, cheers.
