mazda rx8 - doesnt turn over - 007miley

just had my car in for body work and they took off the battery terminal now i have it back but i only get a single click when i try to start it ,all the lights on the dash come on but wont turn over ..i checked the terminal and tightened them but still nothing !! starter was fine before any ideas PLEASE

Probably poor connections.

Remove, clean and retighten the battery connections. Also remove, clean and retighten the earth connection.

Presumably the car hasn't been driven for several days while it's been in the bodyshop? In that case the battery could well be flat or, it could even be defective. You got away with it while you were using the car every day but, as soon as it's laid-up for a number of days,........................................!

Do the panel lights go out when you engage the starter? If so the battery is probably flat - as above.
