Hello, had this car about 7-8 months now. 2 months ago it started cutting out when when coming to a stop at a junction, the only dash light that would come on was the battery light. Sometimes you could rescue the car by giving it some revs, sometimes now.

Got the problem sorted for a good few weeks (replaced a fuel injector and NOx sensor). However, the problem started again less than two weeks ago. Took the car back to the mechanic and this time it needed a new EGR valve.

Now this morning it does it again, thankfully as I'm pulling in to a parking space at work because I could not start it again!

Any ideas what the problem might actually be? Given the fact that the garage seems incapable of identifying it?
