Processes have been available for a while that are supposed to clean DPF's but never met anyone who has had it done. A few web reviews mean nothing to me, anyone could write a glowing report about themselves.
But the video looks far more professional than a bloke with a pressure washer at a yard drain. Looks very interesting.
A couple of years ago one chap on a kit car forum I frequent was looking for a volunteer so that he could try a regen on a car DPF. He had the kit to clean HGV units and had been doing so for several years but never tried a car one. The process involved blasting very hot air through the DPF for several hours to burn off the particles just like a regen does (the HGV ones took 16 hours or so) but he expected smaller car ones to take much less time.
No idea if he tried.
