I have read that the istop will not work under some circumstances, air con on is one i recall reading about, another is if the battery reads under 90% full.
I had a charging fault with my CX-5, not a common fault as i had trouble finding someone else with the issue. But the software needed reinitialising by the garage, the charging volts were not high enough which resulted in a flat battery, this may not be your problem, but i would suggest you buy a plug in voltmeter from Amazon for a couple of pound.
I drive with mine in the car permanently and check it every day, its often at 14Volts plus at this time of the year, short trips.
If its a parasitic drain then it could be something as simple as a boot light, when i checked mine for losses the boot lamp showed a 1Amp drain, the battery is only 80AH, so it wouldn't take long to drain a battery. If you do check for a drain make sure you allow the car to rest at least 20 minutes after reconnecting the battery with the ammeter in circuit before taking current readings, it take time for some circuits to shutdown fully.
Expect to see less than 50ma, thats what mine was, well 45ma if i recal correctly.
