I have just aquired an SLK 2012 vintage and was wondering if anyone could tell me how to silence the radio when the sat nav is on. I can't use any functions without the being on.

Hit the mute button for the radio, just make sure the sat nav isn't "speaking" at moment you do it.

I have the opposite problem - I'd much prefer it if the satnav didn't silence the sound system, at least when I'm playing music. I can see nothing in the manual for the Amundsen system in my Octavia to suggest that there's any choice.
