I have just purchased a secondhand radio from a vehicle dismantler but there is no code on it. The Serial Number is M095434 - thank you for your answer I will try that this week when it is fitted

Thanks again, that worked - I do wonder what the point of a keycode radio is if it is so easy to get the code.

Apparently, the Ford radios in the latest models don't have codes at all!

They are about as useful as the removeable strip button unit which is found on some radio models. Supposed to be a security measure but, in actual fact, they are all identical and any unit can be used successfully with any radio.
