hi all, my front fogs don't work. I know it has nothing to do with MOT, (passed just fine), but i want to sell and it would be nice to have them working! the bulbs and fuses are good! theres no live feed to the bulbs. I suspect the switch. They are around £20 used on ebay. Is there anything else it could be? is the old switch easy to remove?

also my remote locking is temperamental. Works on the fob when it wants, the batteries in both fobs are new. I have tried syncing doing the button/key in door method. No difference. Theres a red and green light on each door. Surely both these receivers can't have failed? any ideas?

light green over dark, 5.0 v8, new MOT, no advisories, 18' AMG wheels, new hood windows last month, will go on gumtree/ ebay soon!

Have you checked for power at the foglight fuse in fusebox.?Lighting switch is held to dash by large nut once the knob is pulled off.The IR locking on these rarely worked correctly.Could be both keys in trouble?Do any of the red/green leds light in the doors and boot? Iirc,the cdl locking receiver control sits above the battery,on a support strut,with the Pse pump in the boot floor.Check for any water ingress.

i havent checked for power at the fuse, the fuse is intact though. the lights on doors do light up, red and green, but only when the keys choose to work. Both fobs have different batteries, co2025 in one, and 4 smaller watch batteries in the other, both sets have been replaced, and the sync procedure has been followed, again, they only work when they choose

the fuse is for both front and rear fogs, it is working fine. will probably leave it. The key fobs were playing up again at first, but both are now working fine, no doubt will be playing up again next time i try though. Car is now for sale on gumtree. green, £3295
