Is the rear legroom worse/same/better, compared to the current mondeo?

I don't know what Ford are playing at with this. The Aston Mondeo was meant to be launched last year.

I wonder if they're trying to flog off the older ones first?

All wheel drive option. I wonder what the transmission layout will be? Not the same as the X type, I presume - that had a few inherent problems.

A few years ago, if anyone had asked you which engine you had in your new Mondeo and you had said, "1.5", they wouldn't have believed it.

Saying that, my Grandad had a Mk3 Cortina 1.3. You could get in the engine bay with the engine still there.

Nothing Aston about it. Apparently developing and fine honing for Europe.

As only 16,000 were registered last year I don't expect to see many. Why did the Insignia sell twice as many? More fleet/hire sales?

I think the Insignificant is a nicer looking car, more imposing too, than the Mondeo. Also seems better made. Having said that, I'd happily have a Moneo estate.
