Mazda 3 2004 - water leak possible cause - comaq

On holiday in France and a long way from home. Hot so used air con for 1st time in 3 years. stopped at lay by and noticed water (pure, no additives, I tasted it ) leaking from bulkhead area. checked hoses, all seems OK. Radiator level also OK. Continued journey, careful eye on temp guage and arrived 100kms later but now even further from home. Someone has suggested condensation.

Any ideas?

Normal condensate from the ac system.Nothing to be worried about.It drains out under car,as you have found out.

Probably a good idea to use the aircon a bit more frequently, HJ's oft-quoted warning is that the seals dry out if it isn't used.

That's nothing to do with your puddle of course, which is perfectly normal.
