Hate new advertising bar - Tintin
The new advertising bar makes HJ site unreadable for tablet users. Too many adverts does the site really need this many?

If you use Chrome and certian ad-ons then the only answer is 'what ad bar'.

It seems to slow the site down considerably. I no longer browse the site, only going to bookarked pages.

I would always recommend using Chrome or Torch rather than Internet Explorer - in fact anything rather than Internet Explorer.

I'm using chrome on my tablet and at the moment both sides of my screen have ad banners for the lotto double rollover !

It makes viewing HJ a chore as the main pane shrinks down making the text so small I have to zoom in to select a discussion then, after that page loads, it shrinks yet again as the banners reappear.

Surely there's a better way to advertise than this ? How about an option to hide adverts after you've seen them once eh !

I'm using Chrome now and I haven't got that problem. Any comments from others using Chrome?

Internet Explorer continues to find ways whereby Microsoft can annoy its users: the latest stupid game is scrolling up and down the page all by itself. Pathetic.

I use an ipad. I currently have no problems with the site although some while back it was unusable due to adverts.

It's getting rediculous again. If it's not an advert for a new VW Golf, its for the Lotto !

Slows my tablet right down, takes an age to login and browse the boards.

C'mon admin, sort it out please.

As a chrome or firefox user I've never seen any of this. Is it unrelated to the site and IE instigated ?

It is very difficult to use with ios 8 on some ipads, but this is an ios8 issue which is so full of bugs it needs fumigating.
