Ford Ka - radio code from registration - tobester

Hi. If the radio unit is still as factory-fitted is it possible to acquire the pin mumber with just the car registration number? I only ask on behalf of my daughter who will struggle to pull the unit out to get the serial number.

Ford Main Dealer can probably do it from the registration number but will charge £££££'s for doing so!

Tell Daughter to try pressing buttons 1 and 6 together, or 2 and 5, which sometimes works to give the serial number.

Serial Number will be in the form M123456 or V123456

where 123456 is a six digit chain.
