My ford 4500 rds eon radio has stopped coming on when I turn engine on, if I press on off button screen lights up but is blank and there is no output

Remove the security panel and give the contacts a gentle wipe with an alcohol based cleaner.

The whole thing does not work though there is no sound and cd will not eject either
