hi guys having trouble with the van, runs very well locally but when i go for along trip and run her a bit harder she will break down, usually after 2 hours of motorway running, leave her for an hour she will run again for 30 or so miles then stop again,,

When it stops running try releasing the fuel filler cap.If there is really bad suction then it could be the venting part of the cap has failed and is causing a build up of too much pressure in the tank.We had this once on a van and it took ages to find the culprit.

By the way, this year of Vivaro doesn't have a compatible canbus system with new obd scanners.Only the main dealers scanners will read the codes properly. The cheap scanners off ebay will read codes from this van but they won't be the right ones, giving you a nice little run around trying different sensors.Guess how i found out?The hard way of course!.

Ok then, give us a clue, what were the codes?

will get them out of the van 2moro,what i can say is the commonrail fuel pressure was 1 but aa guy checked that and said it was fine, the rest were sensor related ,would you change them all? why would it run so well then crash,4 times its happened and it can be short distance or long, very intermitent

the codes for this problem allways come up the same after they have been cleared. codes are 1826/heater plug circuit/180f sensor supply voltage/1809 fuel pressure sensor circuit/1806 egr sensor circuit/1804 turbo charger pressure sensor/180 accelerator pedal sensor gang 1. this has the garage beaten they dont know where to start, doesnt matter if i travel 50 miles or 600 miles these codes all come up when she breaks down

Looks like you may have a wiring fault in the engine harness. Not an uncommon fault on these.Has the van had a recent clutch fitted? This can often lead to wiring issues as the harness runs over the top of the gearbox.
