Whoops a diesel! - Happy Blue!

Well, when did it to my car, the RAC charged me £199 for a suck out and the car seems absolutely fine now. Given that Porsche use VW engines for their diesels, its a bit rich to charge £14,600.

Is it just me or was the word DIESEL stamped all over the filler cap? Seemed pretty obvious to me.

Everyone makes mistakes, but trying to turn it around onto the manufacturer is stupid. Porsche obviously quoted to return the car to 'as new' standard as the car is only 2 years old. I'd like to see how well the car is running in 30,000 miles or so before whooping that it was fixed for only £1000.

No its not just you.

I don't know how long a Porshe warranty usually lasts, but this ones now history.

Odd really, people like that must be reasonably rich, but being rich doesn't necessarily endow one with common sense, in the same circs i bet nearly all of us here would have got the fuel drained on the quiet and the dealer would have never known what happened.

We sure as hell wouldn't have gone anywhere near a tabloid rag, this car will be almost impossible to sell following such publicity, who would risk it?
